Green is in says The Smart One inventor Simon Wilby

Simon Wilby’s invention, an aftermarket device called The Smart One proves that clean, “green,” solar powered energy isn’t just politically correct, it’s practical.

Simon Wilby may have invented The Smart One out of frustration over being cut off mid call because of a dead cellular phone battery, but his simple but radical design approach has serious implications for how consumers view and use solar energy devices.

The Smart One, uses a highly efficient plastic solar panel along with a Lithium exon battery that practically guarantees you’ll never have to charge your cell phone in the conventional way again. Simon Wilby predicts consumers can expect similar products for laptops, game consoles, and music players very soon.

Even street lamps may soon go solar as Simon Wilby has plans to provide remote areas of sun blessed Barbados with a cheaper, more environmentally friendly way to light the way at night by unleashing the potential of solar power.
